The 2020 Subaru Outback has arrived in Massillon, OH at Waikem Subaru.
The 2020 version is the most anticipated Outback ever. After one test drive, we know it’s the best Outback ever.
It takes a major leap forward in safety, technology, performance and comfort. There are more standard features than ever before. The Outback also offers its best fuel economy and horsepower. We’ve always loved the Outback and now it’s even better. Visit Waikem Subaru in Massillon, OH to see it for yourself.

Safety is Standard
The Subaru has always been a hallmark of safety. Subaru EyeSight is now standard on every Outback, so it’s even safer now.
EyeSight is the best form of advanced driver assist technology. It includes:
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Lane Keep Assist and Sway Warning
  • Pre-Collision Braking
  • Pre-Collision Throttle Management
The Outback also has a new Rear-Vision Camera. It will detect items that do not show up on the camera, something on the ground for example, and warn you of any potential danger you can’t see.
The Outback still comes standard with Subaru’s Symmetrical All Wheel Drive. Subarus are considered the safest vehicles for traveling in bad weather. In ice and snow, you’ll have a better commute when you drive a 2020 Subaru Outback.

New Safety Features
As you climb the trim levels in your 2020 Subaru Outback, you will find a number of new safety options.
DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation is the latest in AI auto tech. It monitors driving habits, steering wheel grip, seat position and more to gauge if the driver is drowsy or distracted. If it feels you could be in danger behind the wheel, alerts and bells will chime alerting you as such.
An all new blind spot and lane change assist technology adds more sensors along the side mirrors and the side of the vehicle, working to prevent accidents and helping you safely change lanes.
Reverse Automatic Braking works the same way as Pre-Collision Braking, only this version applies to when the car is in reverse.

New Comfort and Technology
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard with every 2020 Subaru Outback.
Most Outbacks now have an 11.6 inch touchscreen. The touchscreen is the size of a tablet and allows you to easily access the full capabilities of your new 2020 Subaru Outback. Wireless phone charging is optional on many Outbacks.
There are four USB ports in most Outbacks.
Nappa Leather Seats
The new Nappa leather seats available on many Outbacks are already turning heads. Experts are calling this the most comfortable Outback ever.
You’ll sit in fine leather that keeps you comfortable while your Outback also keeps you safe. The Outback has optional heated leather seats and a sunroof. It looks like a luxury car at a much more reasonable cost.

More capable
We told you the Outback is safe and the Outback is comfortable. Did you know it’s also more capable than ever.
It’s begging for a road trip. You get 8.7 inches of ground clearance and X-Mode is now standard. X-MODE works by optimizing the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system for maximum traction on slippery surfaces and Hill Descent Control gives you extra stability and confidence when descending more difficult grades.
Roof rails are now standard on the Outback, and enhanced tie downs ensure everything stays in place.
The Outback’s BOXER engine delivers 182 horsepower and reaches up to 33 MPG on the highway. Auto Start-Stop Technology is standard, giving the Outback a 600 mile maximum fuel range.
It offers up to 32.5 cubic feet of cargo space with all the seats folder upright. Fold the rear seats down, and you can stretch your cargo space to 75.7 cubic feet.
Other nice features include a power liftgate and a power driver seat with seat memory stored for up to five people!
The 2020 Outback is sure to be one of the best vehicles for traveling with pets and children.

Onyx XT Edition
The newest member of the Outback family is the Onyx XT Edition. This is the closest the Outback gets to being a sports car.
With the Onyx XT Outback, you get 260-horsepower, thanks to a turbocharged BOXER engine that delivers 277 pound-feet of torque. Onyx XT Outbacks can tow up to 3,500 pounds and still get 30 MPG highway.
Advanced Dual-Function X-Mode can optimize the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive for snow, dirt, or mud and Hill Descent Control for stability on difficult grades — so you get maximum traction in almost any condition.
Style wise, the Onyx XT Outback has black-finished exterior mirrors and badging. Standard 18-inch alloy wheels feature a gloss black finish for a confident and composed foundation.
The Onyx Edition XT cabin surrounds you in StarTex upholstery that’s water-repellant and hard-wearing to stand up to the most rugged adventuring.
