All Wheel Drive Standard
When you talk about the 2016 Subaru Impreza, the first thing you talk about is the standard Symmetrical All Wheel Drive. The Impreza is always voted one of the best vehicles in ice and snow, and when you drive in this area, it's important to have all wheel drive as part of your daily commute.
The Subaru Impreza is an IIHS Top Safety Pick Plus thanks to the Symmetrical All Wheel Drive and Subaru's EyeSight Driver Assist Technology. Subaru EyeSight adds to that great safety reputation with features including adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking and lane departure warning.
The Impreza is the most fuel efficient all wheel drive model on the road today with an EPA estimated 28 mpg city and 37 mpg highway.
Great Standard Features
All Wheel Drive is probably the Impreza's best standard option, but it's definitely not the only option. The 2016 Subaru Impreza is considered the most affordable all-wheel drive passenger car in America thanks to its long list of standard options.
Every Impreza also comes with a standard backup camera and Bluetooth, one of a select few models to offer both these features as standards. Every Impreza also comes with keyless entry, carpeted floor mats, cruise control, power locks and windows and a 60/40 fold-down rear seat backs.
As you climb up the trim levels, you'll get all the features of the modern vehicles, including heated seats, heated mirrors, sunroof, navigation, leather seats, leather steering wheel, push button ignition and a whole lot more.

BOXER Engine
Along with all wheel drive, Subaru vehicles are known for their great BOXER engines under the hood. The 2.0L 4 cylinder engine produces 148 hp at 6,200 rpm and 145-lb-ft of torque. It can be matched to either a 5-speed manual transmission or CVT.
